OH. MY. RENOS.
I wasn’t quite sure that was a word, and then I remembered that we’re Australian, and we have the ability to shorten anything without consequence.
And all the folks on the forums are saying it as well, though that might be stress and excitement from tonight’s episode of Week of Our Lives. It’s always great to see a character you’ve followed for the last seven years finally achieve their dream, with Selene finally getting into that prestigious kitchen design academy in the alps of Bulgaria! But alas…Johnny was jealous of her success, and managed to convince the Bulgarian academy that Selene’s kitchen renovation experience was actually falsified, and that she’d sent out tweets on Tweeter decrying bathroom renovations as being for lesser beings. Now, the renovation and design community is very tightly-knit, and so they took this as an affront to their bathroom kin and kicked Selene out of the school, even though she’d never tweeted anything bad. So Selene is on a rampage of revenge against Johnny, even though he’s the son of the local vicar and everyone thinks he’s the perfect angel, so no one will believe Selene’s story.
After many episodes of planning, she finally enacted her master plan to sneak into his home and renovate Johnny’s bathroom and kitchen, except in a way that accuses him of wrongdoing. The toilet seat will be slightly off-kilter, indicating that his morals are the same. The mirror will be in the shape of a square, indicating his hard edges and uncaring spirit. And the bath…the bath is deep purple, the colour of BETRAYAL.
Personally, I thought it was both a decent advertisement for Melbourne’s kitchen renovation services, and also a creative way to bring drama and justice. The episode ended with Johnny walking in and seeing the carnage…what comes next?
