Neat Homes and Gardens Are Serious Business

February 5, 2018 - DIY

crushed rock Narre WarrenOH .MY. PEBBLES.

That’s a funny word. ‘Pebbles’. You could say it all day. They certainly said it a lot on tonight’s action-packed episode of ‘Week of Our Lives’, as the residents of Realsville scrambled to win a Tidy Homes and Gardens award that would set them apart in the local townships.

Of course, Harrison became his usual tyrannical self and took over the whole thing, all because he worked as a landscaper for a few years in his youth. He went to buy garden supplies in Berwick, but of course that’s when his car spun off the road and he was kidnapped by a group of roaming bandits who’d heard tales of his great landscaping prowess and wanted him to tell them how to properly lay paving stones. Of course, Harrison didn’t have a clue; he’s just the type to boast about this stuff. How’s he getting out of this one??

Meanwhile, Chrissie sees this competition as a chance to unleash her inner diva and finally outdo Clarice, winning the love of Frank with her flawless skills at paving and pebble arrangement. Her and Clarice have been at it for years, ever since Chrissie stole her best friend’s song for the school songwriting competition. Then there was the fight at the party, the hair wax prank, that one Christmas special where Chrissie shoved Clarice into the boot of a car and drove her to the edge of a cliff and threatened to shove her off and then accidentally did and tried to cover it up by saying that Clarice tried to murder her, and then that one time when they both tried to buy the last roast chicken in the supermarket.

The troubles start when she has to go and find the highest quality crushed rock in Narre Warren– obviously, the best place for crushed rock- but that also happens to be Chrissie’s ancestral family home, and the place from whence she was banished for mysterious crimes. Will she break the family code because of her love? Will Harrison ever return with his garden supplies? I’m certainly staying tuned.
